Related Issue #2: Historical Globalization

Part A:
I learned that Residential schools had no respect for the children that were in the schools; they were abused and tormented throughout their lifetime.
The aboriginal people insisted an apology for quite awhile and were getting no attention for what was going on in the residential schools. The aboriginal people received an apology and money from the gov't that was unnecessary according to the aboriginals. I believe they wanted more than just money; they wanted their life’s back.
I found it interesting  that we find out about this now when back in the day this was not even a problem, natives were abused and it seemed as if no one cared about them, they isolated them in residential schools.
I can connect this to what I have learned in class with things outside of school for instance; abused kids that are abused around school, or at home and it can really change their direction on how they treat others, and impact them for the rest of their lives.
What surprised me was that when we first started I was unaware of the severity of this situation; I had no recollection that residential schools were insulting and abusive; I thought this was not a big deal because I didn't really care. But When I found out about all that they were put through tormented and much more, I was interested and curious to why would something so rational such as physical and sexual abuse I wanted to know why.
One concept I’m still having difficulty with is understanding things quickly, It’s a lot easier to me when I have an idea of what ones perspective is about how they feel about the situation.
One skill or strategy that I find useful was using the S.O.A.P.S definitely helped a lot to break down logic and make it simpler they made writing essays easier to write and make your essay way more dynamic and interesting.

PARTY B-Early Economic Globalization

Mercantilism is a trade that was controlled by government to gain their wealth. Many merchants wanted freedom to make their own money. After Mercantilism became Capitalism which is also another trade that was not controlled by government and this were markets competing against one another.
Capitalism occurred than became Industrialization that was similar to Capitalism instead they were about raw materials from around the globe and sold in stores to purchase. After that this lead to Imperialism, Imperialism is when one nation takes over another nation for territory.

Blog assignment

Part one.
So far in social I have learned globalization terms. Globalization is the different nations connected and dependence on each other -interconnected & interdependence. An interesting thing I learned throughout Globalization is other countries depend on each other, like Japans massive earthquake has impacted the city greatly, it became a global disaster. Countries become depended on other countries to help gain what was lost. Globalization happens everywhere, such as clothing, shoes and goods coming from another country/nation.

Part two.
I have not completed all the assignments given to me; I will improve my attitudes toward my work.
In this course so far I understand necessary/basic things like how globalization is worldwide, how some countries are interdependent and interconnected .At first I may have had some difficulties understanding the view of globalization being a basic approach. The two goals I have attempted would be to have all understanding of globalization. And my second goal would be to improve my work and grade in class.

Part three

this picture is type of globalization; this image reflects technology and a cultivating world. This image symbolizes me because technology is constantly around me and always improving for example internet, gaming , and entertainment.
